With And Refers Patients To Ophthalmologist (medical Ser.)
070.101-058 Or Other Health Care Practitioner If Additional
Medical Treatment Is Determined Necessary. May Prescribe
Medications To Treat Eye Diseases If State Laws Permit. May
Specialize In Type Of Services Provided, Such As Contact
Lenses, Low Vision Aids Or Vision Therapy, Or In Treatment Of
Specific Groups, Such As Children Or Elderly Patients. May
Conduct Research, Instruct In College Or University, Act As
Consultant, Or Work In Public Health Field.
